Established in 1992 and rebranded as Amari Palm Reef Koh Samui the same year, this property quickly became one of Amari brand’s most distinct beachfront resorts. Framed by coconut palms and powdery sands, it grew in popularity before joining the ONYX Hospitality Group portfolio in 2010.

By 2015, it underwent a major renovation and relaunched as Amari Koh Samui, unveiling a refreshed identity that celebrates island life with modern comfort and Thai-inspired design.

Located along the soft sands of Chaweng Beach, the resort features 193 rooms across three distinct zones – The Garden, Thai Village and Beach Wing. Dining includes the brand’s beloved Amaya Food Gallery, serving Asian and international favourites while Prego Italian Restaurant – famed for its wood-fired pizzas and pastas – keeps things fresh. Although for most, the beachfront Amaya Bar is where to go for cocktails under the stars.

The property’s lively kids’ club brings an added sense of playfulness to every stay, while the Breeze Spa and FIT Centre offer refined spaces for relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall wellbeing.
