Where is the hotel located?     
The Loei Palace Hotel is located in Loei Province in the Northeast of Thailand. The total distance from Bangkok is 540 kms with a traveling time of approximately 7-8 hours by car.

Alternatively, you can fly to Udon Thani airport and drive approximately 2 hours to the hotel. Van rental is available for the guests who would like to be picked up at Udon Thani airport. The property is in town of Loei, opposite the Provincial Stadium.

What types of rooms are available in the hotel?     
The hotel has four categories of rooms, superior, junior suite, deluxe suite and super deluxe suite and super deluxe suite.

Superior rooms are 41.26 m2 and located on the 3rd floor to 6th floors with a choice of mountain or city views. Facilities include air condition with individual controls, a colour TV with satellite, a mini bar, telephone and a hair dryer.

Junior suits are 63 m2 and located on the 2nd floor. They include a desk, sofa in a living area and have beautiful views of public park. In addition, there is a large balcony with a relaxing chair.

Deluxe suite rooms are 72 m2, located on the 6th floor and have a large separate bedroom and living room.

There are furnished in a stylish modern Oriental design and have a colour TV with satellite in both rooms, two view facing to the city and public park, surrounding mountains.

Super deluxe suite rooms are 112m2, located on the 7th floor with a top beautiful view of Loei city and a view of the surrounding mountain.

Do you have non-smoking room?     
Non-smoking rooms are available on the 4th and 6th floors.

How many restaurants do you have, and what time are they served?    
We have 2 restaurants in the hotel:

The Botun Restaurant which serves International, Thai and Chinese cuisine and is open from 6 a.m. till 1 p.m. every day.

The Bay Restaurant which serves International, Thai and Chinese cuisine in a casual setting where Karaoke rooms are available from 6 p.m. till 12 p.m.

What facilities are available at the hotel?     
The hotel's recreation facilities include a swimming pool, children's pool, jacuzzi and fitness room. Karaoke and karaoke VIP rooms are also available.

How far is the hotel from the shopping area in town?    
  It is less than 1 k.m. from the hotel to shopping area in town, it is a pleasant walk which goes past the public park.

What is there to see and do in Loei?    
  Loei is at the northern most point of the Northeastern region, and is about 400 meters above sea level. Loei has plenty of interesting activities for tourists.

Phu Kradung National Park: A mountainous area with unspoiled nature including pine forests, grass plains and wild flowers that grow around streams and rock fields. The peak of Phu Kradung has a cliff with a beautiful view of sunrise.

Phu Rua National Park: The highest peak of the mountain is 1,365 meters above sea level. The climate is generally cool throughout the year and so cold in winter that dw freezes into ice droplets called "Mae Khaning". The peak of Phu Rua has a pine forest and striking natural rock fields, as well as colourful flowers like red and white roses, mountain African marigolds, mosses, ferns, and assorted wild orchids.

Kaeng Khut Khu, is an island in the middle of the Mekong River. On the otherside of the river, you can see the green forests and large mountains which line the Mekong River.

What is the weather like at different times of the year?     
The climate generally in Thailand is warm all year. However, the winter is the best season to travel in Loei, from October to February.
