Where is the resort located?
The Angkhang Nature Resort is located in Fang district, Chiang Mai province, approximately 167 kms from Chiang Mai airport. The property is on Angkhang Mountain and stands about 1,400 metres above sea level.

How long does it take in a taxi from Chiang Mai airport to the resort and approximately how much does it cost?
It takes around 3 hours to get from the airport to the resort. The cost ranges from Baht 2,500 to 3,000 for a public taxi.

Can you arrange airport transfer?
Yes, we are happy to assist you and can arrange a private van for Baht 4,500.- nett round trip (maximum 8 adults). Please let our reservation staff know if you would like to book transport. Reservations should be booked a minimum of 2 days in advance.

What types of rooms are available in the resort?
The Angkhang Nature Resort offers 52 superior mountain view, 20 superior garden view and 2 suites. Each room is decorated with local Thai fabrics and has a spacious private balcony from which to enjoy the view.

We don't have a tour desk in the resort. The reception staff will be pleased to assist with your arrangements.

What is the weather like at different times of the year?
As a general guide, the weather in the Angkhang region is cool all year round. Northern Thailand has three distict seasons. November to February is the cooler season and during these months it is comfortably warm during the day, with cool evenings. Temperatures generally range from 5-10 celsius degree at night and from 10-22 celsius degree during the day. The lowest temperatures are minus 1 and minus 4 celsius during December to January.
March to May is the summer season, with temperatures typically ranging from 10-28 celsius.
June to October is the rainy season, with short tropical showers and temperatures ranging from 15-28 celcius.
